Aston Villa favourites to get better of injury-hit Preston
Reds’ fan continue to chant ‘we’re going to win the league’ and there appears to be few chinks in their armour, with just six points dropped in the opening half of the season.
Wednesday’s 4-0 defeat of Newcastle saw them flourish in the final third once more and, simulation accusations aside for a second, Mo Salah continues to lead the line up front.

Hide AdThe PFA Player of the Year netted in both defeats of Wolves and Newcastle in the last week and has been cut to 11/4 with 32Red to be the league’s leading goalscorer, and 8/1 to be best amongst his peers for a second successive season.
The Reds face one of their sternest tests of the season thus far when hosting Arsenal at Anfield this evening, with Unai Emery’s men arriving on the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw at Brighton midweek.
The Gunners themselves have a front-three of a similar quality to the hosts, with Luca Torreira and Mesut Ozil combining fluidly with the pair of Alexander Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the final third.
The latter netted the opener at the Amex at the weekend and currently tops the PL scoring charts having netted 13 goals in the Gunners’ first half of the season.

It will be fascinating to see how he fairs against Liverpool centre-half Virgil Van Dijk, who remains the even money favourite to be named PFA Player of the Year after a sparkling start to the season.
Nevertheless, Liverpool are often prone to errors at the back and I can see goals in a traditionally high-scoring game on Merseyside.
Liverpool backers at 1/2 would surely rather take them at 7/4 to win despite conceding at the other end.

I can see both sides leaving with a point and, with goals fancied, think both the 2-2 and 3-3 correct scores could give punters a run for their money at both 14/1 and 40/1 respectively with 32Red.
