“Upon acquiring the hotel, they invested heavily in the building to improve the facilities and to create a stylish, comfortable and traditional setting for its guests to enjoy.
“Although the majority of the trade is derived from weddings and short breaks, the hotel has a great underused dining area which can provide a further revenue stream.”
Colliers added: “The current owners choose to casually trade the business around 5.5 days per week, providing an opportunity to further develop trade should a new owner wish to be more commercially minded.
“However, after five years of trading they have made the decision to sell Springfield House due to ill health.”
