Preston North End receive £3m injection after active summer transfer window

A total of £3.3million has been pumped into Preston North End, according to figures on Companies House.

Released on November 3rd, documents show that the Lilywhites received two financial injections on September 7 and October 6 respectively. The statements of capital via allotment of shares can be viewed online, with the support of Craig Hemmings and co continuing.

Since the passing of PNE owner Trevor Hemmings CVO, in October 2021, his son Craig has kept investing in the same way - with shares not counting as debt, unlike cash payments. A premium of £1,001 per share is paid, with the latest investments the seventh and eighth of the calendar year.

North End were also supported financially in January, February, March, April, May and June. In total, approximately £6.7m has been injected in 2023 by Preston's owners. PNE were active in the summer transfer window, signing Cadiz striker Milutin Osmajic for a club record fee - reportedly in the region of £2.1m.

Mads Frokjaer also arrived for a reported £1.2m from Danish side Odense BK, while Jack Whatmough, Will Keane, Duane Holmes and Layton Stewart arrived on permanent deals. Preston also loaned in Calvin Ramsay and Liam Millar, from Liverpool and FC Basel respectively.
