Meanwhile, the Lilywhites continue their search for a new manager, and a host of names as varied as Nicky Butt and Gareth Ainsworth have been linked with the job since Alex Neil was sacked back on 21st March.
Speaking to the Lancashire Post, interim head coach Frankie McAvoy revealed: “The way we are going to approach the next few weeks is one game at a time. You can’t put people under undue pressure by looking too far ahead.
“Every game brings its own pressure and the focus has to be on that one.
We’ve got the blinkers on as far as facing Norwich (Preston's first game back after the international break) is concerned, then once we’ve played we will turn to the Swansea game.”
The Lilywhites takes on the Canaries this Friday afternoon, and will need to be at their best to get a decent result against Daniel Farke's table-toppers.
