Jack Catterall too good for Ohara Davies as he stays unbeaten with points victory
The Chorley super-lightweight star retained his WBO Intercontinental title after prevailing on points after a cagey 12-round contest at the Morningside Arena.
Catterall took the decision 118-110 on one card with with other two judges scoring the fight 115-113.

Hide AdVictory extended the 25-year-old’s unbeaten professional record to 23-0 as he eyes a future clash with WBO World champion Maurice Hooker.
Davies’ record slipped to 18-2 as he failed to make his mark in a contest that didn’t catch fire as expected, Catterall’s slicker work seeing him take the decision.
"Far from the performance I would of liked, but nevertheless another win and a step in the right direction," he posted on Twitter post-fight.
