Sitting outside at a bar and sunning ourselves with a picnic on Avenham Park might be off the list this weekend with the chance of some showers and dropping temperatures.
Bank Holiday plans might still be going ahead, but it is likely people will need their coats and jackets to keep warm.

Hide AdFor the rest of today, April 30, it is due to stay fairly dry and overcast, with highs of around 10°C throughout the day.
And tonight, the clouds will break up to give a dry but chilly night with frost and fog patches. There will be the occasional shower early into tomorrow morning, with temperatures dropping as low as 3°C.
On Saturday, May 1, the cloud will be patchy, with sunny spells most of the day but the chance of scattered showers in the afternoon, with maximum temperatures of 12 °C.
And Sunday will be much the same, starting off with a brighter but cold start, with highs of around 4°C, developing into overcast conditions in the evening.

In the evening, clouds break up and showers die out giving a dry and chilly night with frosts and fog patches. Towards the morning the occasional shower may develop again.

Patchy cloud, sunny spells and scattered showers throughout the day. Turning dry and frosty again into the night. Feeling cold throughout, despite light winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Sunday, May 2 into Bank Holiday Monday
Sunshine and showers on Sunday. Heavy rain then arrives from the west Monday afternoon, bringing strong winds and coastal gales.
