The longest day: A summer slice of life
Evening Post journalists, photographers and their colleagues were joined by members of the public in shooting short films showing a slice of their day, as part of our Summer of Love campaign.
A compilation of the results of the film project, Longest Local Day, has been compiled for our website, lep.co.uk, and will be uploaded over the weekend.

The idea was inspired by Hollywood director Ridley Scott’s documentary Life in a Day, which showed hundreds of clips sent into YouTube users of a moment in their lives on the same day.
Evening Post associate editor Mike Hill said: “We were really impressed with how our readers got involved and sent in such a variety of clips.
“The results gave us a smalll insight into how people in Lancashire spend a typical day in many different ways.”
