Men released as probe continues into 'serious foot injury' in Preston

The men, aged 28, 26 and 20 were detained after an incident in The Paddock in Fulwood.

How he came to be injured is unclear, and there was speculation locally that he may have been shot

A Lancashire police spokesman said: "Our investigation is ongoing to establish how the man came about his injury.

"It is very unclear at this stage.

"Three men arrested yesterday have now been released under investigation."
