Garth inmates who wounded prisoner get extra jail time

Inmate Yasir Ali was attacked in an unprovoked assault at HMP Garth at around 10.25am on New Year’s Day, 2019, Preston Crown Court was told.
Arjan Bance, 29, and now of HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes, and co-defendant Abdullah Benagi, 29, used their fists and a mop handle to inflict injuries on Ali in his cell, and admit wounding.Ali was left with a fractured left eye-socket and cheekbone.

Hide AdHe was found in his cell injured and bleeding almost an hour later by another prisoner.
Both men appeared before Preston Crown Court.
