A Chorley man who pleaded guilty to harassment of a woman but not guilty to a threat to kill will appear before Preston Magistrates Court later this month.

Ross Robinson, 38, of Clayton Gate, Coppull, pleaded guilty to harassing Claire Hodder by sending numerous text messages and phone calls in August after she had told him to stop contacting her. On Thursday, August 4 and Sunday 14, at Fleetwood he allegedly made a threat to kill her, of which he pleaded not guilty, and that he would burn her house down.
